shots and petsmart

I had to go get a shot and blood taken today..... it wasnt to bad! I got lots of cookies! Mom said it was that time of the year again where I need a check up and the vet said I looked PERFECT!

Then mom and dad took me to Petsmart!! I got 2 new toys, a new ball and new frisbees!! I got Katie a toy too because I am a good big brother! I like Petsmart ALOT!!!

I got to ride out my first hurricane last night and boy it was scary! Im glad I cuddled with mom and dad in bed! The lights kept going on and off! Katie wasnt scared though, she slept right through it!

Dad put these things on the window and I couldnt see out but he took them off tonight. Mom said we had broken trees and she wont let me go outside but to potty because our fence is broken and its to dangerous right now.

We have lights and tv right now so I get to watch my favorite shows on Animal Planet! Mom says we are one of the lucky ones that have power.

I hope I dont have to do this again for a long time! It was really loud! But Its over now!!

Back to work :(

Mom has to go back to work..... she said she has to go teach kids to read and teach them to love learning. Im sad.... I have to spend all day by myself..... well with Katie too. But we are in 2 different areas in the house..... I dont like to listen to Katie bark at the cats..... Its okay..... I got to spend all summer with her..... and Katie..... :)

On other news! I got to take a ROAD TRIP!!! We went to Grandma's and saw her 3 dogs. She has a dog that looks like me. The other big dog mom called a German Short Hair Pointer and he was BIG! He wanted to play so Tripp and I herded him all over the yard! Katie didnt want to play, Toby was just to big for her! She did want to play with the little dog, Emma but Emma didnt want to play with her!

What am I going to do with my days? I guess chase the cats..... shh dont tell mom.... she tells me to leave to poor cats alone...... I stop but Katie dosent! You should see her! She barks and barks and barks........ poor cats... I just chase! :) But at night I sleep with them.... shhh dont tell Katie.......

Houston SPCA walk

Mom thought it would be fun for us to go help the other doggies at the Houston SPCA. Me and mom are going to walk on behalf of Katie. We dont think she could handle all the doggies there. If you want to donate and support us visit the mom's website!

First time

So mom thought it would be fun if I wrote about my days... so here goes...

I am a 2 year old border collie. My parents got me when I was 8 weeks old. I love to play ball but I have to take it easy. I had to have knee surgery last year. I love to take walks and sleep in between mom and dad in bed. Mom calls me a bed hog, dad calls me a cuddle monster. I love to give kisses and tattle on my new sister, Katie.

Mom thought it would be fun to get me a sister. I think not...... I have to share my toys and the attention.... They said they rescued her from being hurt and sometimes she is sweet. But she steals my toys and likes to jump. Mom and Dad call her the jumping bean. She has only lived with us for a few months. She likes to lay on her back and get belly rubs. I prefer head rubs. Mom said she is a border collie mix..... and she is a year old. Enough about her....

I guess that is for now....
