Community Guidelines for Organizations

Chattypet welcomes all non-profit animal-loving organizations into its community! We encourage you to customize your home on the web by reflecting your company's mission, displaying the personalities of your animal companions, and utilizing all of the resources Chattypet has to offer.

To help keep the Chattypet Community a happy place for everyone, we also request that you support the following guidelines when posting content to your organization's site.

Chattypet understands the importance of finding a home for every pet in need. However, we discourage "guilting" people into adopting companion animals. This "guilt factor" often motivates people to spontaneously adopt pets that require a life-long commitment for which the animal-lovers are not ready to undertake.

Please do not post anything that may be considered offensive to others. Pet-lovers respect their animal companions and want to do what is best for their beloved furry-friends (and non-furry animal friends, too)!

Pictures and text that show animals in pain, under duress, living in poor conditions or in an unhealthy state are subject to removal from the site. We want to help these animals, and we want to help them using the right mechanisms (like supporting your tax-exempt organization).

We hope to see your organization thrive within our Chattypet Community. We want our shared culture to be a healthy and proactive one.

Please help us achieve our ideals as shown at the bottom of our about us page, and let us know how we can improve by contacting us.
