Shandi is a young adult Shepherd mix who came to us from Virden Vet Clinic where she had been brought by Virden Animal Control. Shandi was the mom of the planet pups we had featured earlier that have all been adopted. She had 10 puppies with her. This poor girl was not originally in very good shape. She was very shy and timid and afraid of people. She has come around a lot while in rescue. We are still not sure of her house training as she has been living on farm but she seems very happy on the farm and gets along well with the other dogs and animals there. Shandi will probably be very afraid when she moves to a new home again so someone will have to be patient with her and not frighten her for the first few weeks she is with them. Once she knows people she bonds very closely to them and becomes very attached.Friends
